This was a secondary research project completed for a client planning to enter a new market. The goal of the research was to provide an overview of the major issues associated with the transportation infrastructure in the selected market. Numerous local newspaper and magazine articles as well as local, state, and federal government reports and documents were reviewed. The major issues and findings were synopsized in a report providing the client with an overview of the political, financial, and public climate related to the local transportation infrastructure. Knowledge of these issues enabled the client to approach this market sensitized to local factors.
